mailwoman?

out loud, it sounds like a poorly named hybrid of the two sexes.

but once written, it just cries for an androgynous mail carriers' title. i suppose we could use MAIL CARRIER or MAIL PERSON. but those are both awkward and terribly overthetop for casual usage.

"hey dad did the mail carrier come yet?"

"oh lisa you're a mail person?"

i've taken time out of my busy sexist life for this list:

1. LETTER LADY
2. MAIL MISTRESS

3. FE-MAIL-ER
4. POST OFFICER

alliteration is key here!

is the world not ready for female mail carriers? should we just consider them genderless for hiding away in those little truck-lings?
