out loud, it sounds like a poorly named hybrid of the two sexes.
but once written, it just cries for an androgynous mail carriers' title. i suppose we could use MAIL CARRIER or MAIL PERSON. but those are both awkward and terribly overthetop for casual usage.
"hey dad did the mail carrier come yet?"
"oh lisa you're a mail person?"
